Pottery Discovery

We are finally offering in-studio workshops in Lagunas. In our hands-on discovery class we will show you 3 uniquely different ways of making your very own pottery. The class is designed to accommodate beginner to intermediate levels, where you can expect to create at least 3 pieces from each technique. You will experience: slab work to make plates; pinching and coiling to make a bowl; and going for a spin on the wheel to make a cup (with or without Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers, lol). The workshop will start at 9:00am and finish around 2:00pm, with a light snack and drink in between. Students may come back to do your own glazing after the bisque firing. We are also offering shipping of your final work directly to your home if you are not living in the area. Our studio is located in the beautiful mountains of Lagunas, a 10 minute drive from Playa Dominical (transportation may be arranged). Come and join us to play with some mud in a refreshing climate, the perfect rainy season activity! Classes will run as private or semi-private for $75 per person, or as a group (max 6 students) for $60 per person.
