Using fierce but huggable combatants as its protagonists, LA’s 72andSunny & New York’s PandaPanther concocted a quirky Spartan-Styled war with “Masks”. Aptly called a “Braveheart-meets-Care Bears battlefield”, “Masks” marks an ambitious and action packed entry into the Zune Arts showcase of emerging artists. The Brief was wide open and gave PandaPanther the creative freedom to concept any narrative based on the idea of sharing. The experience of producing this short was a battle in itself and proved to be a great milestone in the history of PandaPanther. The finished piece was inducted into MOMA’s permanent collection.
